A resident of the Town of Northumberland since 2004, John M. DeLisle is serving
his 5th term as a Town Councilman.

 

John resided with his wife Kiersten and their three children near Bacon Hill. Kiersten is a school librarian and media specialist in nearby South Glens Falls. Cade, a Class of 2023 Norwich University Summa
Cum Laude graduate in Business Management, has recently joined the family business. Chase and Peyton Corrine are Schuylerville High School students active in sports, FFA, Honor Society, and other scholastic and extracurricular programs.

If asked, John would say his favorite thing about living in Northumberland, is the genuine small-town feel, the day-to-day beauty of the land in this productive farming community and the amazing residents and business owners.

John, the Founder and CEO of Grasshopper Gardens, a lawn care, landscape, and nursery company, employs 100 plus staff, located along the north side of town. Serving on the town board since 2014, John is intricately involved with the town parks department, highway department, and planning board among other ongoing town initiatives.
