Transfer Station

The Northumberland Transfer Station is open to all Town residents.
Location: 392 Peters Road, Gansevoort, NY
Dates/Times Open: Saturday and Sunday 8am to 3pm
FEES:
Up To a 30 gallon bag $2.00
Double Matress/Sofa/Large Rugs $8.00
Single Matress/Chair/Small Rugs $4.00
TIRES ARE NOT ACCEPTED
Please Note - All cardboard must be flattened. If it is not, it must go into the regular roll off and there will be a fee. All vehicles Must drive through the building located on the site, even if they are not discarding recyclable items. Several accidents have almost occurred with individuals that have decided to drive around the building rather than wait their turn and drive through it.
***ALL BAGS MUST HAVE A STICKER ON THEM***
Stickers may be obtained from the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, or from the attendant at the transfer station.
Please follow the instructions on the stickers. All bags need to be closed with the sticker, and only one sticker per bag.

CLEAN glass, plastic cardboard, scrap metal and electronic recycling accepted.

We DO accept televisions.
